Chapter 6:



Days passed and they had begun to do small missions together as team seven. And it began to seem like hell. The boys on the team seemed to have some rivalry going on and the pinkette couldn’t make up her mind some days she tried to play nice with the Neko but others she would glare and give her nasty looks. All in all it seemed Kakashi had quite a lot on his hands.

Sighing the feline would lay in her bed, staring up at the shuriken that dug deep into the ceiling. All she wanted to do was train harder. Even after small D-rank missions around Konoha, she found herself at the training field till late at night. She wanted to reach a peak but it just wasn’t enough. Day after day she pushed herself harder and harder. Never reaching her goal. And when she did. It wasn’t enough. Sitting up she looked at the clock. She was supposed to meet her team soon. Moving her bangs out of her face she decided to get going with a sigh.

It ate at her. Tore her insides apart, this feeling of not knowing. She felt like she had no reason for existence. Stopping at the mirror she growled. “What the fuck am I….” Her teal eyes would meet with her reflection. Pale skin, and bright teal eyes. Reaching up she would fold her ears down covering them with her hands. Cracking a smile she tried to keep it on her face. Why was she born this way… why couldn’t she be normal. Sighing once more she left her apartment.

Walking down the stairs she smiled seeing the shy girl. For the past few days they had walked together to meet up with there teams, it was sort of like a bond they had begun to build. “Miyu-chan!” Her voice was always so soft and innocent, This girl was truly like an angel. “Did you sleep well?” Cracking her neck the neko would stretch her arms up. “Sleep? Not much…” Shaking her head she would give a toothy grin. “How about you stay up staring at Naruto from his window?” A deep blush would cross the hime-cut girl. Playfully pushing the females shoulder she giggled. “I’m kidding.”

The rest of there walk was filled with joking, and a relaxed vibe. These short walks were The felines short escape from reality. Waving goodbye to Hinata the feline noticed the male with the dog staring at her blankly, rolling her eyes she continued to walk off. Making her way to the bridge they normally met up at she sighed at the sight.

Naruto was trying to get Sakura to agree upon a date after there mission today. While she was trying to get Sasuke. As she walked up the Raven haired boy smirked. “You look like you had quite the night?” Naruto would look over at her. “Miyu-chan when did you even get home.” Walking past the blonde she rubbed his head. “Don’t worry about that.” Miyuki retorted. “How late is he?” “Two hours…” Sakura groaned.

They sat there waiting. Silence rained for the next forty-five minutes until finally. “Sorry I’m late! I got lost on the path of life.” The four Nins would glare up at the copy nin. “So what are we doing today Kakashi-sensei?” Sakura piped up again. “We have a Capture and Return Mission today.” Her ears perked up as she looked up. “Oh?” Even Naruto seemed excited about this one.

“Wait! What do you mean we have to Catch some old ladies cat!?” Oh the sound of Naruto’s voice seemed like nails on a chalkboard when he wined. “Can’t we just get Miyu to like talk to the Cat?!” The teal hues of the Neko quickly glared at the male. Sasuke Bopped the Blonde on the head. Miyuki Growled as she spoke. “Baka! I don’t speak Cat!” Rubbing his head he pouted. “Well you have Cat ears I just figured…” Again the male was struck. “You can be so ignorant can’t you?”  

“Well Shall we get going?” Kakashi questioned trying to break up what could possibly be a quarrel.

“Position number four?” Kakashi spoke. “The target is in site…” Miyu spoke softly. With out hesitation however Naruto had jumped after the cat. Causing the Cat to attack his face. Sighing the rest of the squad walked over. “Target acquired Sensei!” Naruto gave a thumbs up. Shaking her head Miyuki took the cat holding it in her arms gently. “Naruto.. You’re not a Cat person are you? I think you should stick to something safer… like Rabbits…” Miyuki’s voice was soft as she pet the cat. “What about a flower?” Naruto looked over at Sakura. “Eww NO!”

Sasuke would walk over to Miyuki. “Hn..” He would rub the Cats head as it purred. Miyuki just looked up at him. He had a few inches on her. Smiling softly the male caught her gaze. Smiling back slightly. They held the moment for only a minute before she looked away blushing. Shaking her head she looked at Kakashi. “Can we go?”

Sakura had seen the Neko and The Uchiha though. Jealousy began to rage through her veins. Why can’t Sasuke look at me like that!?! She would ponder to herself.

Back at the Hokage Mansion, It just got worse. Naruto began to complain about wanting a real mission, and how he proved himself or something. Miyuki had blocked him off looking at the Old lady who was squishing the Cat. It made her clench. She would run away to if she was that poor soul.

“Fine We will give you a simple C-rank Mission. To escort someone.”
